Welcome to Foundations of Faith! This is a six-part Adult Education Series where we will seek to immerse ourselves in the basics, the essentials, of Christian life and practice. We are meeting on February 8th, 15th, and 22nd, as well as March 1st, 8th, and 15th, from 9 am to 10 am in Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity for all adults seeking to examine, explore, and deepen your experience of life in Christ. Bring your spiritual yearnings, your questions, and yourselves.
Our areas of exploration include:
--A Jesus-Centered Faith
--Unbounded Love
--Salvation
--The Realm (Kingdom) of God
--Worship
--Prayer
--The Bible
-- Community (in Mission)
The list is not exhaustive. In our first session the group added Relationship and Forgiveness to the "essentials," as well as Sin (since we're exploring salvation!).
This is a lot of territory for six one-hour sessions!! But it promises to be a spirited process.
